January Italian Beginner Course (A2)

January Beginner Course (A2) in Covent Garden.

This course is for students who have previously completed a beginners course. Our course for complete beginners is here.

OfCourseItalian is pleased to announced its new January Beginner Course (A2) in Italian.
The course will take place in Covent Garden and it will start on Thursday 10th of January at 6:00pm.
We will meet for 12 lesson every Thursday at 6:00pm until 7:30pm. The class is small and open to a maximum 6 students.

Each lesson meets for 90 minutes and during the class we will use the text book “Nuovo Espresso 1 ” (not included in the course price).

This course is a continuation of Italian Beginners 1.
It is designed for students wishing to learn the language for business, travel or everyday use . To join this corse you will need to have completed approximately 20 hours of Italian. Students will develop skills to use in conversation, reading, listening and writing. This course aims to build general basic comprehension and communication skills in beginners Italian. The focus of the class is on speaking and communication, but we will cover all the aspects of the Italian grammar needed to build confidence and become a fluent speaker.

CONTENT
Conversational Italian and an introduction to cultural practices, with a focus on clear explanation of basic language principles.
Topics (as related to textbook). The syllabus of the course may vary depending on the pace of learning of the class.

Planned learning outcomes
By the end of this course students should be able to:

  1. Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
  2. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
  3. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
  4. Can demonstrate the skills, language and attitudes required for further study of Italian.
