OfCourseItalian is pleased to announced its new Italian Beginner 2 ( A1) Course.
The course will take place in Covent Garden and will start on Thursday 11th of January at 7:35pm.
We will meet every Thursday at 7:35pm until 9:05pm for 12 lessons.
Each class meets for 90 minutes and during the lesson we will use the text book “Nuovo Espresso 1 ” (not included in the course price).
Our Italian Beginner 2 ( A1) course is designed for students who have completed approximately 20 hours tuition and are acquainted with the content of Unit 1 to 3 of the main textbook Nuovo Espresso 1. The communicative and grammatical aspects are integrated in every lesson; oral drills are integral to the course.
During the class the tutor will use a communicative approach method and only the target language will be used from the first class.
The class is very interactive and taught with the use of games, cards, music. As soon as the level is appropriate, Italian movies are used.
We believe that it is very important to expose students to the spoken language.

12 Sessions that aim to build general basic comprehension and communication skills in elementary Italian.
Conversational Italian and an introduction to cultural practices, with a focus on clear explanation of basic language principles.

Planned learning outcomes
By the end of this course students should be able to:
Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
Can demonstrate the skills, language and attitudes required for further study of Italian.
